Our Team

WorldStrides was founded in 1967 by a middle school teacher from Chicago. More than 40 years later, WorldStrides boasts a team of more than 400 professionals, each with our own enthusiasm for education and travel. Our casual environment is filled with passionate people who work hard and have fun at the same time. From summer picnics to team outings and employee travel programs, WorldStrides offers an atmosphere that our employees love to return to each day. Our Offices

WorldStrides has offices in 10 locations across the country and also offers a number of field-based career opportunities. In addition to our two largest offices in Charlottesville, VA, and Salt Lake City, UT, WorldStrides also has offices in Arlington, VA; Annapolis, MD; New York City, NY; Williamsburg, VA; Reno, NV; Newport Beach, CA; Houston, TX; and Seattle, WA.

Charlottesville, VA

WorldStrides is headquartered in Charlottesville, VA, home to the University of Virginia and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello. With a population of just over 40,000, Charlottesville offers the feel of a small, suburban town with the benefits of a larger city. Opportunities for fine dining, shopping, and cultural events abound in the University area and near the city’s historic Downtown Mall, one of the largest pedestrian malls in the country. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy being just a few miles away from the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Salt Lake City, UT

Tucked away in the mountains, Salt Lake City, UT, is the beautiful home to WorldStrides’ Performing Division. While best known for its top-notch ski resorts in the winter, the Salt Lake City area is also a center for the arts, attracting many Broadway and off-Broadway performances, a thriving local music scene, and the Sundance Film Festival. The capital city of Utah also boasts five professional sports teams and a wealth of outdoor activities in every season.
